We know becoming or being an entrepreneur isn’t easy and identifying as LGBTQ can make the process even more challenging!
Interested in starting a new business but not sure how to do it? Have an idea that you need to vet your way through? Have an existing small business that you need help taking to the next level?
LEAP IS HERE TO HELP!
The program is FREE to all participants that complete the application process and meet the criteria to participate:
Founder(s)/Majority Owner(s) must identify as LGBTQ
Business should be in ideation or early start up phase
Willing to commit to virtual and in person classes/gatherings for 3 hours per day one day a week for 3 months

LEAP relies on the support of its sponsors to be able to offer our programs for FREE to our participants.
Whatever your level of giving, we truly need and appreciate your support to be able reach as many people as possible across the country and be able to empower future generations of LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs.

BECOME A MENTOR OR EDUCATOR
We are always looking for local and national mentors and educators to join our team as volunteers around the country!
MENTORS
We are always searching for other successful LGBTQ+ business people and allies with the passion and desire to help mentor our participants throughout the country.
Based on compatibility, we match mentors with our participants to assist them with their businesses in any key areas they need help with and also feel the matches will develop strong ongoing connections. Our hope is that our mentors and participants will build long lasting friendships as well!
Mentors need to be able to offer 15-20 hours of their time over the entire 4 month course time for each class and we can work with you based on availability. We also strongly encourage mentors to stay in touch with participants after graduation and continue to support them through their journey.

EDUCATORS
Do you have subject matter expertise in key areas helpful to entrepreneurs?
We are always looking for educators to help lead in person and virtual classes with experience in legal structure, business/financial plan development, branding and marketing/communications, funding and capital, and more.
By offering just a few hours of your time, you can help impact the growth and success of our participants exponentially!

LEAP partners with various individuals, groups, and organizations, around the country to host programs locally in your community.
Our team helps with everything from initial program set up to full program operations and is there to support you throughout the entire process:
